I was performing a system recovery on my ACER computer with a Windows 7 operating system, Whenever I start the computer now, it goes right to 'setup is starting services' and states a few seconds later 'The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows , click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart the installation. I pressed 'OK' but it just loops around. I've tried other boot options and such, but nothing seems to work around this error. I bought this computer with windows 7 i have a Windows 7 installation disc but its a 64 bit and my ACER is a 32 bit pc.I chose the option in recovery to save data to a D partition. I do not have a recovery disc
and the restore points were only created just before i tried the repair recovery. reason to do the repair recovery was because this was my sisters pc and she just passed away, the pc had virus issues and no browser would access the internet, i know i should have attempted a backup first but did not big mistake. Is there anyway for me to save the data on this hard drive before attempting a full new reload?
