Windows 7 homegroup computers no longer sharing files and printers

Hi.

I have a home network of three Windows 7 desktops. Two are wired, one is on wifi. The network has been working great with all computers sharing files and printers without problems. All computers use Microsoft Defender and Firewall. There have been no admin changes to either computer, no network changes, no firewall changes.


TODAY, computers A and B and not working together.

• From A, when net view \\B produces System Error 5 (without the Access is Denied msg).
• From B, when net view \\A produces System Error 53.
• Both A and B can net view \\C.

I have restarted both computers, reconnected to the network, run troubleshooter, etc ... nothing has made any difference.

This is driving me crazy. How do I go about fixing this problem?
