Hello, first of all thanks for taking your time to read my post.
So the problem I am facing with, I recently moved locations and started having trouble with my internet connection.
I am on Windows 7 64-bit. I have a Sabertooth z77 motherboard with a Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver installed.
My connection should be 28mb download and 5mb upload. On speedtest.net I am only receiving 0.8mb download and 5mb upload.
One thing that I found very odd to note is when I run a speed test on Dery Telecom's site (my ISP) which also uses Ookla (like speedtest.net) my speed is as it should be at 28mb download and 5mb upload. Everywhere I use the internet other than the Dery telecom speed test it seems to be extremely slow and I am incapable of downloading anything, even 2mb files.
Other computers in the house and smart phones are all working perfectly fine, it's just my desktop computer.
I have tested with both wired and wireless connections and face the same problem.
My computer functions 100% while on other networks, it only faces this problem on this network. Before I moved I had 50mb download with no problems. I tried connecting wirelessly to a personal hotspot from my phone and my connection also worked perfectly as it should.
Solutions I have tried:
Plugging directly into the modem
Testing wired and wireless connection
Changing the link speed (10mb full duplex, half duplex, 100mb ... etc etc)
I do not have AMD quick stream on my PC
Internet options --> Connections --> LAN settings --> unchecking automatically detect settings
Cmd prompt (ipconfig -release and -renew, ipconfig -flushdns, netsh int ip reset)
Uninstalling my network adapter driver (2012) and reinstalling a new network adapter driver (2015)
Trying a new router
Running many different malware detectors (I don't think malware is a problem since my internet works 100% on other networks)
I called my ISP and they told me whenever my PC is connected to the router it is pinging 400 to 600 different connections.
I'm not sure what else to try and starting to lose hope. Do you guys have any ideas?
