Windows 11 won't download

I have the same desktop PC that two other family members have. Both of theirs have updated to Windows 11 just fine. Mine keeps stalling out during the download. We all use the same security for antivirus and firewall. There are no differences between our devices. I'm a novice, but this isn't the first time I've done a windows update. This should be easy as pie but instead kit keeps telling me that the update is ready and then stops at about 8% download. Not sure what else to do here.
