Windows 11 won't connect to the internet

Hello, I bought a new computer with Windows 11 last year and have had no problems with it until today. The computer simply will not connect to the internet. I have gone through the troubleshooter with the most ridiculous thing there being it says to "connect to the internet" to figure out how to connect to the internet!? What the hell is that all about? This is an HP computer with an Intel i3 chip, 32gb RAM, and a 2tb SSD. As it is a new computer it has all the "modern" sockets and such. As a result, that means it is NOT fitted with an Ethernet outlet, so I can't plug an Ethernet cable into it
