Windows 11 Update KB5022303 fails to install

Windows 11 on my Intel NUC won't install the 22H2 Cumulative Update (KB5022303). I've tried what others have suggested - the troubleshooter, manually stopping and starting everything, updated BIOS and drivers. It downloads the update but keeps failing during installation, with the error code 0x8007000d and states some files may be missing or have problems. I downloaded the update for manual install, but it fails saying it was not installed and does not give a reason.Any more suggestions please?
