Windows 11 update ignoring paused updates, causing data loss on overnight tasks.

Windows 11 is ignoring the Pause Updates feature and installing updates that require restarts, and automatically restarting while the update feature is paused. I pause for 1 week at a time and check for updates manually every Tuesday. (To head off the 'you can't postpone updates forever' before it starts.)The Update menu states "Updates paused unil 9/19/2023" with a button to resume or extend.I discovered this morning that Windows had installed and restarted to apply a configuration update at 4:30 in the morning.Event 1074, User32 - 9/17/2023 4:15:03The process C:\WINDOWS\uus\package
