I did not even ask for it, but Windows offered "Update and shut down" and so I clicked at 11pm on my personal laptop. When I woke up in the morning, the laptop was repeatedly rebooting, showing a quick white rectangle and then rebooting again. I am very busy with family and work, and this is very disruptive. I am looking to find time to boot it up with a recovery Linux and save my files if they are still there. Then it's diagnostics and clean reinstall.The only way to avoid this is to keep free disk space so low that Windows cannot download its updates in the background. That's why my other,
