Windows 11 unable to write to usb disks

Windows 11 is all of a sudden not able to write to usb disks (thumbdrives) that works without problems on other computers with windows 11. I have checked the solutions of Windows11 - all USB connected storages are read-only - Microsoft Community to no avail.
