windows 11 restore problem

i had a deivce with a purchased (not pre-installed) windows 10 license , i upgraded to windows 11. Now, i made a system image and installed it on another computer. the problem is the new computer says that license can't be activated and when i go for the troubleshooter it says there is no device witha valid license for windows 11. i reinstalled windows 11 on my old computer and its activated easily (my license is linked digitally). should i downgrade my new computer to windows 10 and thne move the license and reupgrade?
