Windows 11 refuses to find updates

When going through the "windows update" page in settings, it shows that "my device is missing important security updates," yet when I click on the "check for updates" button it does not give me any options to install those said-security-updates. Attached is a screenshot of what it looks like on my end. The header says "You're up to date" while the description says I'm not, which is a bit confusing.Related to this incident, I have been having frequent error crashes (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, specifically) which, from what I can tell online, are tied to outdated drivers.
