Windows 11 Pro product key not working for new PC after botched installation

Quick timeline of events:1. I bought a Windows 11 Pro key from a legitimate supplier2. I finished setting up my new PC (AMD CPU, MSI motherboard)3. I do not have a disk reader so I tried to install Windows 11 via a USB installation media but encountered a drivers not found issue4. I changed the installation media to Windows 10 and that worked5. I activated my product key in Windows 10 while offline and not account-synced (didn't set up ethernet yet)6.
