Windows 11 Media Player Legacy won't Autoply consecutive songs,

Forced to upgrade to a new computer and Windows 11, Media Player Legacy won't autoplay consecutive songs or shuffle. Exhausted, I've spent hours trying, turning on and off autoplay, in settings, in control panel, in apps multiple times, restarted, and upgraded, shell services, etc, I've tried every suggestion I can find on the internet. NOTHING WORKS. The new downgraded verision of M/P has no option to add rating stars, views, or columns, even though it is a valuable tool for many of us.
