Windows 11 keeps resetting all of my folders to grouped by date modified

I have already used this tutorial (click anywhere in that sentence to be linked to what I'm referring to). My issue is that, after following that, it resets the folder I am CURRENTLY IN to date modified, even though I have removed that filter and am trying to apply the CURRENT settings to all folders. It is making me crazy.
