Windows 11 files disappeared

HelloI was working on my project yesterday night and went to sleep after saving but when i wake up and check my InDesign file again all the images that i put into the document had vanished there's no trace of it only in the InDesign file it shows as not found. This happened before as well in windows 10. Please assist me with what's happening.THank you
