Windows 11 has one nasty bug that slows down Explorer. When you open any folder, you will first see a blank screen for a fraction of a second, and only then will the files appear. This creates a feeling of Explorer slowing down and frequent blinking of windows. To fix this you need to press "F11" button 2 times - enter full screen mode and exit it.
