Windows 11 display too big for monitor screen

I have a Windows 11 PC using monitor circuitry on its Lenovo motherboard (Lenovo M920T). I have a Samsung LS24D330HSX monitor, connected to the PC via a Display Port. The displayed image is "too big" for the monitor, losing about half the top and bottom toolbar ribbons off both top and bottom - similar on vertical sides. It 'seems like' I should be adjusting the scaling to around 95% in the display settings - but I don't have an option any smaller than 100%. Changing the resolution obviously alters things, but no option there resolves the issue. There are no options available on the monit
