windows 11 Desktop shortcuts opens folder location, not the folder.

Hi,i have created many folders on my destop. Today I decided to move them to their correct location in "Documents" and replace them with shortcuts on the desktop. (Some had aldeady been done., or a shortcut had already been created, linked to the folder in"documents").This is what I did:1. Moved the folder from Destop to Documents2. Created a shortcut, withiin Documents, to the folder3. Dragged the shortcut to the Desktop.FileI repeated this for all the folders on my desktop.I now find that, when I click on the destop link, instead of the required folder opening, File Explorer opens with the r
