Windows 11 clean install from windows 10 key (Full License). Key not working.

Forgive me for asking this question after 100 variations of it have been asked already.I recently built a new pc. Moved the hard drive over, no issues took right off (windows 11). I want to do a clean install of windows 11. They key I have was previously associated with a windows 10 pro activation.I made a bootable windows 11. When it came to enter my product key before the install it won't work. It is entered correctly.Everything I have read has led to me believe u can do a clean install with 11 from a windows 10 key.Any help would be appreciated.
