Windows 11 - Cannot open JPG - System could not find the environment variable that was entered - What's the fix?

When I attempt to open a jpg file on my Windows11 desktop, or in any other location in my directory or any other user account directory on my home office PC - the following system message is displayed: C:\path\filename.jpgThe system could not find the environment variable that was entered.I have reinstalled Microsoft's photos app and am still unable to open or view JPG or JPEG files.Can you describe what I need to do to fix this problem please?Device name blanked outProcessor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700 2.10 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.6 GB usable) Device ID blanked outPro
