Windows 11 can place windows outside of the visible screen, how to get hold of them?

When I switch from one external monitor to another external monitor with my laptop, not necessary different sizes, but a little different arrangement of the screens layout, Windows can move existing open windows to my top right screen position so I can only view the bottom left part of the window. This makes it impossible to move them into sight. The alt-tab feature to cycle through them will not help, they stay put. Hovering over the icon for the window in the bottom taskbar can sometimes help you, as you can right click on the pop-upped enlarged window icon to get a menu, to enlarge the main
