Windows 11 barely picking up Microphone Input

Hello, I have an issue with Windows 11, that it barely picks up my microphone. When I look in the sound settings, I need to almost move my microphone all the way to my mouth for it to even register it.But when using other programs like Discord, it picks up my microphone with no issue.
