Windows 11 Background Disappeared

After turning on my computer, after the latest update, the windows 11 background has completely disappeared - changed to black. I cant change this. In settings, if I click on background it comes up with related settings e.g. contrast and help.The option to change the background has completely disappeared.Any ideas?
