Windows 11: Any way to remove password to use computer in person but still require a password for Remote Desktop?

Not sure if this is doable but here goes. I've decided I've removed my account's password because I kept having a repeat of the problem I described at Redirecting. The problem has happened twice to me and I'm unable to determine what's causing it. Having to wait an hour to try logging in again just isn't an acceptable solution.
