Windows 11 2H24 update has broken my audio and I'm stuck getting it working

Hello,Windows 11 2H24 service pack went on to my Intel NUC machine. It's a model NUC10FNK built in 04/2020 so it isn't exactly old.When it re-started I got a message from Windows Defender that the audio device had been disabled as the driver was unsigned. Result: the upgrade has killed my audio.Windows troubleshooter tells me there are no audio devices installed.Intel's NUC troubleshooter no longer admits there is an audio device in the machine.Device Manager shows a device "Intel High Definition DSP" (which I presume is the TV that I connect as my monitor via HDMI cable) and when I look at th
