Windows 11 24H2 update constantly fails with error code 0x80070002

I've been trying to install the Windows 11 24H2 update for a while now, though it constantly fails after a trying for a long time, with the error code 0x80070002. I've tried turning of windows update service, clearing the softwaredistribution folder and turning the windows update service back on, and installing the 23H2 repair version which ultimately failed.
