Windows 10 updater.exe tries to run and I do not permit it as it is "unknown"

Still running Windows 10. Lately, something called updater.exe attempts to run and I get a popup asking permission, which I deny. It keeps coming back. McAfee doesn't find any virus. Is this a rogue?
