Windows 10 update not updating

in the last few days, the Windows update facility will not update.I get this message when i go to the update screen:" There were some problems installing updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x8024500c)"It also says " *Some settings are managed by your organisation" yet it is a home computer.Also, I cannot download anything from the Windows app store, but i dont know if the two are connected.Can anyone help?Thanks
