I cannot log into my Microsoft account.

I believe I have a microsoft account because onedrive is working and microsoft 365 (word) shows "My Microsft Account". I am logged into my local account but I cannot log into my Microsoft account. I have reset my account password but that doesn't fix the problem. Please help. Fred
