Hello.
I'm having a serious problem with my laptop. When it started, the taskbar wouldn't work at all. Whenever the cursor landed on the taskbar it displayed that loading/buffering animation. It wouldn't show any of the apps fixed on the taskbar and the icons wouldn't work either. Nonetheless, everything works fine if I can make my way to it through the folders - I have no problems with the folders on the desktop.
I've been searching a lot trying to find a solution for this problem but nothing seems to work. I tried sfc /scannow but it goes all the way to 65% and then it stops. I also tried DISM but it gets stuck at 81.4% and never finished because of timeout.
I've tried this code "Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}" on powershell but I'm not sure if it should take as much time as it did (I ran it for more than 12 hours straight I think) and it did not work.
However, all the times I tried any of the fixes before, the taskbar started working again partially. The apps appear and function again, and so do the icons as well. The only thing that still doesn't work is the start menu.
All in all, I'm writing this post as a last resort. I'm not a computer expert so I definitely need help on this one. I really need this laptop for my work and not being able to use it properly has been driving me nuts. Hopefully someone can help me.
