Windows 10 Safe Mode password

It has been so long since I installed Windows for the first time (maybe NT?) that I have forgotten what I set my Safe Mode password to. On occasion I have an issue where the suggestions are to first reboot into Safe Mode. But, when I try that, it will not accept any password I try. All of the Googles on the issue don't directly answer how to fix this. Basically, I am able to run Windows in normal mode, but, I want to find out what my Safe Mode password is and/or how to reset that password. How can this be done without first *BEING* in Safe Mode?I am running Windows 10 Pro on what is basic
