windows 10 pro n key dont work

ive had my computer with windows 10 pro n for many years,now the otherday after a longer time without using it i saw that i had to activate the windows again,since i dont have the original key i bought a new one but it wont work after entering the key it takes some time and i get ,windows cant activate with this product key,i then wrote to the key seller witch send me a new one.But still the same.Not sure what i can do now,can i reinstall my windows and use the new key? and if so where can i find my windows that fit for my key?
