Managed to delete the bulk of old IE11 Web Credentials but 3 entries persist on one of my machines.
They can be removed but will reappear after a reboot and are only removed for the current user session.
- If I sign in to the machine with a local account instead of the Microsoft account they will not! reappear
- If first Logon with same user credentials to the machine is though RDP removed Web Credentials will not reappear.
- Whether removed with Credentials Manager or vaultcmd /deletecreds makes no difference, they will reappear.
- Switching SYNCing off for Passwords or other Setting or ALL does not help they will reappear
- Deleting Cloud Synced Settings for Microsoft Account does not help and they will reappear
They are correctly removed but then added back to this directory with fresh datestamps:
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Vault\4BF4C442-9B8A-41A0-B380-DD4A704DDB28
How can I delete these permanently?
