Windows 10 - Photos Legacy - Won't Open Images

Hello! Hoping someone can help.I am running Windows 10, Home, 64-bit on a PC which is currently up to date. A few months back, because I was having issues with the newer Microsoft "Photos" program, I uninstalled it and installed Microsoft's "Photo Legacy" however I'm having problems with this opening images, too (jpg, gif, png). I have already reset it under the Settings area and it didn't help (I went into Apps & Features, went to Photo Legacy, clicked on the ellipses (...) and chose Advanced, and then reset from there).
