One week ago, I had Windows 7 Pro and everything worked fine.
then all of a sudden my wifi would not connect. So I upgrade to windows 10, a fresh install.
Problem is:
Then my 2 external Hard [ different brands + also some USB keys ] CANNOT be shown in windows explorer letting me get to the files.
I'm even trying to connect a new external HD that I formated on my laptop, and no joy there either, cannot be seen in explorer.
I can see them in the disk management interface, BUT cannot change drive letters or path, get the error as shown in the attached screenshot
"The operation failed to complete because the Disk Management console is not up to date.
It's Disk 4, which is not showing up in Explorer and doesn't have a drive letter.

What could be the issue? I don't think it's the external HD's, something is not working that is connecting the HD to the Windows Explorer. When I connect an external device [ HD ] I hear the windows sound that is has connected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I need to get access to these files for work. Hope everyone is safe during these covid times ;(
