Hi, so I bought a PC last December and we had to replace a lot of it because it was very basic and not good for gaming. That included replacing the motherboard. The computer came with Windows 10, and now it is “not activated” and I do not have the product key from the time I bought it. My question is: do I have to purchase a Windows 10 Home product key to fix it, or can I go ahead and get a Windows 11 Home key? I read somewhere that if I were to go and try to upgrade it to a Windows 11, it wouldn’t work. I want to make sure I’m buying the right one before spending the money.
