Windows 10 Media Player Will Not Burn CDrs

I burn dozens of CDs per day using my internal optical drive on my HP laptop. I am using Windows 10 and use the Windows Media Player to burn CDrs. My problems seem random so even beginning to ask what is wrong is frustrating. I use Fast burn speed and am burning MP3s to an audio disk.My first problem is that no Verbatim CDrs do not burn at all. They used to work perfectly using an external drive, but I have used different laptops and drives and they no longer work. They do not burn by preparing the files but always skipping and getting stuck on the third track burn. This happens regardless of
