Windows 10 Mail CC/BCC is not sending emails to gmail accounts

I regularly copy emails using CC/BCC to many gmail accounts. I have never had a problem with this in Outlook or anywhere else. On Windows 10 Mail I have realised that the CC/BCC fails to deliver the email at all to any gmail recipient - no error message, they just seem to be stripped.The CC shows up on Sent Items, it just never actually reaches the recipient.Be clear that these gmail addresses appear to work absolutely fine when placed in the To field.P.S. Problem is the same whether sent via Hotmail or via SMTP, and whether or not there is any recipient in the To field.
