Hi There
My Windows 10 mail app has always worked fine in the past with my Outlook, Gmail an iCloud email accounts......
Until recently I reinstalled the Windows 10 Mail App And Added my 3 email accounts again
I added my iCloud account using the (2 step authentication) - no problem - All my emails synced - I can Receive INCOMING EMAILS from all 3 accounts
BUT that is not the problem I CANT SEND ANY EMAILS FROM MY ICLOUD ACCOUNT ANYMORE
See error message below
My current smtp settings is set to 587:1 (not working)
I have RESET THE MAIL APP 4 TIMES
I have UNINSTALLED THE MAIL APP 4 TIMES
I have REINSTALLED THE MAIL AND CALENDAR APP 4 TIMES
I have done the whole Windows Store Troubleshoot Thing
I have done the whole Powershell remove package thing
HECK I have even Done a complete REINSTALL/RESET of my WINDOWS
STILL NOTHING , the problem seems to be with the iCloud email account outgoing smtp settings????
I have read 100 similar issues on many forums???
what is the solution???????????
I have tried smtp 25:0 with no authentication ( no working)
I have tried smtp 587:0 with authentication (not working)
Please help
How many times do we have to tell you guys "If if aint broke , dont fix it"
