So I'm not sure what's going on, it's my first time using a support forum like this for help so bear with me. A couple weeks ago my computer seemingly updated from windows 8 to windows 10 without my permission. I cannot be 100% sure this is what happened but it seems that way to me at the moment. Ever since this happened my computer's performance has been incredibly erratic. Every so often it runs great but most of the time it has terrible input lag which causes me a lot of problems. Prior to this unexpected update to windows 10, I was playing a lot of very basic 2D games on steam. Most of them were pixel art, not graphics intensive, and games I figured I could use to pass the time every so often considering I have a laptop that I don't think is particularly built for gaming. Now all my games are practically unplayable most of the time. It seems like every third key I press is a second behind at least. It's obviously noticeable when I'm typing as well, but that doesn't present as much of a problem as when I'm playing a game where being able to react in a second's notice is essential. I've been googling and trying and reversing various solutions for weeks. I've read disabling superfetch has worked for some people. I tried that for a little while and it seemed to work briefly until it came back worse than ever so I reenabled it. I've tried taking the virtual memory off of automatic and setting it on Windows' recommended settings, which seemed to work great briefly until my programs started crashing and I had to reverse that as well. I've tried updating drivers, but all the ones I've tried so far say they're up to date. I have an ASUS laptop, my system information says I have an Intel Core i-7-3632QM CPU processor, and I honestly have no idea what that means. All I know is that it didn't have this issue when I was on Windows 8 and now it does on Windows 10. Any help either fixing this issue or reverting back to a version of windows that works on my computer would be much appreciated.
