I can't be the only person driven to distraction by this !!
Windows should know that the headphone socket is not only used for headphones!!! I use it to connect to old school (pre bluetooth) output devices too.
Very annoying to have the volume limited as a blanket system response. Even more so to "allow" this only to have have it applied again some minutes later.
Can anyone help? This is a windows 10 notification that I want to turn off.
I don't think any of this following info will be very useful but I have a linx 1010 running standard setup...
Windows 10 home
v1511
OS Build 10586.164
Intel Atom CPU Z3735F @1.33GHz
2GB Ram
32bit operating system, x64-based processor
In device manager I have gone into "Sound" and "Sounds" tab and changed notifications to "(None)" as advised from one source although I suspect this just turns the noise off. The problem continues.
Thanks
Neil
