When I try to print to a printer on my server, the document (no matter what sort) seems to hang up in the print spooler. When I open the print manager window both the "pause printing" and "cancel printing" options are grayed out in the drop down menu, however I can highlight the print job and hit delete and the thing says it's deleting the print job. But, it never actually does that. By mistake I sent three print jobs at the same time (not realizing the first had not been deleted) which simply placed them in the queue behind the first and it just sat there staring at me no matter what I did to try to stop and delete the print jobs.
How does one go about emptying the spooler so that printing can start again? Restarting the computer does no good at all. The printer is select-able in the "print" window, it's connected to the server (via USB) and works with other computers on my network, save for this one which is my primary CAD workstation.
Thanks a lot!
