Win 11 Update issue

Hi I am struggling to sort out windows issues short of reset. I did the last update but from January to now things have incrementally being happening. First my login page went to a black background. Then sticky notes app stopped working. Then file associations for pdf, web and videos reset to edge. Not sure where to start. Any help or are my issues unique? I am using win 11 23H2 on an HP 15dy. I have uninstalled all updates and retried 23H2. The first time it left the dektop flashing so redid it and now Ok.
