Two years ago I installed a batch file, used everywhere at work, that prevented auto update from Win 7 to Win 10, as was happening then without permission.
I installed it at home and at my husband's office too.
Now I want to use Win 10, but its installation is blocked. I get periodic Windows Update reports that (auto) Win 10 installation failed.
Can I get around this block somehow?
(I do still have the original batch file but I don't know what changes it made.)
Or must I just buy a new computer in order to get Win 10? (Current one is 3.5 years old.)
Thanks, Nan
