Win 10 FILE EXPLORER-- How to remove C:\Users\myname\ from path (before a folder name\file name\etc. ?

I have Win. 10. on PC. File Explorer has always appeared fine. (even with prior Windows versions)Just recently, the Path at top of home page/"File" page shows the Path to begin with: "C:\Users\myname\ in front of anyfolder or file that I select.It also shows within the list of folders/files in File Explorer with each file showing this full path. It's taking up too much space that I cannot read across for the listing of a File name and its Details. Very annoying.I prefer to see just the File Name, and details read across the line. And not "C:\Users\myname\ in front and taking up space.
