Will system restore reinstall my laptop's ps/2 keyboard driver?

To cut short a long story, while trying to fix a keyboard issue (some of the keys wouldn't work), I accidentally un-installed my keyboard (and its touch mouse) and I've spent the better of an hour or two, trying to find the drivers and reinstall them.I've tried HP and Microsoft websites but got nowhere and, at the moment, I'm attempting a system restore to see if that works.To add more context, the R, T, 4,5, B, and V keys stopped working (again) and I was at my wits end, now I **** up and I'm trying to fix it.
