Scanned document 5/1/2016, following day I lost my ability to open Adobe files or they took many minutes to open, went through un-install and re-installed Adobe from website.
Could now access files but could not scan.
Uninstalled/reinstalled printer software.
Still could not scan but could print.
Found I needed Flash. ocx. for scanning to work.
I previously had Adobe Flash.
Downloaded from Adobe but could not install. The Adobe screen came up as a white blank on IE with Adobe header.
Comment from HP, my printer and processor provider (The error code you are seeing seems to be coming from an Adobe Flash Player Update for Windows 8 and higher).
Has Silverlight software (KB3106614 & KB3126036) ( not that I am aware I use it) any bearing on problem as this failed to upload.
Please advise.
