Recently (sometime over the past week) all programs under my Microsoft office

have completely stopped working. When I attempt to open anything such as Word

or Powerpoint I get a message that it has stopped working and then closes the

program. Next time I open it it attempts to run in safe mode. After that goes

the same way, the next time I attempt to open it again, then it runs a

diagnostics, finds nothing wrong, restart whole process.

I bought the programs back sometime around December '08-March '09 and have

had no problems before this. I've tried restoring my computer to the last day

I used it, uninstalled everything and then reinstalled, ran updates and

anything else I could think of all with no luck. Everything else on my

computer is running fine so I can't really see anything that would be the

matter.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I've run into this sporadically on one of my PCs.

See if this helps:

Message: "PowerPoint has stopped working" at startup. PowerPoint won't start.
