Will my laptop stop shutting down if windows 11 update is completed?

[Windows 11]

I just bought my Dell latitude laptop and the windows update didn't finish yet so when I try to work on it while being updated,5 minutes in the screen stops working .it just shuts down.keyboard still working(backlit keyboard) but nothing appears on the screen. I just wanna know if that's happening because the windows 11 update isn't done yet?will it be fixed when windows update is completed?
