I understand that I can use Windows backup to create a dedicated DVD that can be used to boot the machine on which it was created. That's great. However, suppose I use the windows media creation tool to create a memory stick for machine A. But then I need to restore machine B. Can I use that memory stick to boot machine B, and then use a backup created for machine B? Or is it the case that a memory stick created with the media creation tool works ONLY for the machine on which it was created? I.e. is it "dedicated" to that specific machine?
